Needs A Home
In Greek the meaning of the name Althea is wholesome or to heal and I’ve healed really well through that painful skin condition. I love people and I am very active. I love to chase toys, sit on your lap or meow to tell you about my day.
I have wonderful soft fur now but just a few months ago I had a skin infection and raw spots on my fur due to a flea or food allergy. After some rounds of antibiotic shots and being on good flea control and a limited ingredient food I am all healed up and ready for adoption!
I played so hard in my foster home that I temporarily hurt my knee and was limping for a few months but now I am back to normal and no further problems are expected from my knee.
I absolutely hate other cats. They really stress me out, so I need to be your one and only furry friend. I’m in a foster home because I don’t like seeing the other cats in the shelter so if you are interested in meeting me please fill out an adoption application to set up a meeting. I’m also looking for a new foster home as of 7/10/18 since my foster is moving out of the city-you can fill out a foster application if you are interested.
My estimated birthdate is 1/1/2017.
Check out this video of how much I love to chase a laser toy. Someday I will get that darn dot!
