About Hemingway

The Basics: Well hello! I’m Hemingway and I’m a dapper little gentleman with an extra toe on each of my front paws. It looks like I have little thumbs.  You might notice I’m missing one of my eyes. I had my eye surgically removed as it was very infected. I came from a home with way too many cats and my eye was probably painful for a long time before another shelter rescued me and then transfered me to Animal Aid.  My other remaining eye had some minor surgery to fix something called entropion which means my eyelashes were growing inside my eyelid. I’m all good now but the vet says I might be a feline herpes carrier and so I shouldn’t go to a home that has a cat who is immune suppressed, a kitten, or a very senior cat.

I’m a talkative cat and supposedly I do well with other cats.  I’m a pretty petite cat.

Likes: I’m very affectionate with people and love to cuddle.  I love to chase my toys.

Dislikes: Not much so far.

Looking for: A home that will give me lots of attention and love. I could go to a home with a healthy adult cat or another cat who is a feline herpes carrier.

I’m in a foster home so if you want to meet me, please put in an adoption application to set up a meeting.

My estimated birth date is 7/29/2013.

*All cats at Animal Aid have been spayed/neutered, tested negative for FIV and Felv, microchipped, and are up to date on core vaccines.
