Needs A Home
Hi there, I’m Neil! I’m a 12 lb Shiba Inu/terrier mix with lots of energy, a big voice, and a quirky personality.
I currently live in a house with a fenced yard with my foster mom and no other pets, and I’m looking for a similar forever home. I need an adult-only family, and I am dog selective (bigger dogs have made me nervous in the past).
I love going for walks or being outside in the yard keeping watch over the street and barking as the friendly neighbors pass by. I also love sitting next to my person or on their lap, though I’m not one for petting unless I am very comfortable with you. I’ve been unsure of humans in the past, so I can be on edge when a hand tries to touch me. I’m content just being with you!
I’m a very vocal guy, and I’ll let you know how I’m feeling and what I need. My foster mom says I’m a great singer and also talented at harrumphing. She also says I’m a great companion who is very routine-oriented, so I’d love a parent who has a set schedule that I can follow! I’m a fairly independent pup, so I’m fine to be at home while you go to work or run errands.
Are you an active person who also enjoys time at home and is looking for a furry friend to share your life with? Well, look no further: I’m your guy!
Neil’s estimated birth date is 3/1/2010.
I’m currently living with a foster family. To meet me, please submit an adoption application first.
